The English Session in JAEE Annual Meeting is aimed at disseminating state-of-the-art earthquake engineering research and providing an opportunity of presentations and discussions in English for Japanese researchers, practitioners, international students, etc. This English session succeeds the JAEE international symposium held in 2012-2015.
This year, the JAEE Annual Meeting will be held online as a countermeasure for the spread of COVID-19 that is feared to continue for a while. For this reason, special planned sessions and general sessions, including the English session, will all be oral presentations.
We call for contribution of the papers on earthquake engineering and related fields to be presented in the English Session in addition to the regular sessions. Young researchers and international students are particularly encouraged to join the English session. Excellent Presentation Awards will be presented to the outstanding presentation among young researchers.
Note that papers that contain political claims, religious claims, commercial advertising, or slanderous content will be rejected.
