"An easy-to-understand lecture on earthquake engineering for graduate students and elementary level engineers"
Earthquake engineering encompasses a diversity of specialized fields, and young people looking to become engineers of the future are not at present afforded the opportunities to gain knowledge in all the essential fields. In the meeting for young earthquake engineering researchers, we plan to hold an easy-to-understand lecture for persons in stages ranging from graduate students seeking careers as future engineers to elementary level engineers. Easy-to-understand general remarks will be provided by specialists in the each of the major fields and we hope that many of you will apply to participate. Please refer to this home page (http://wwwcatfish.dpri.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~gyee/) for information on the meeting for young earthquake engineering researchers.
The lecture schedule and location are to be posted at a later date.
